The CentraCare Health System is a system of health care providers in Central Minnesota, United States. It comprises three hospitals, four long-term care facilities, nearly a dozen clinics and numerous specialty care services. As of 2008, the system had 6,438 employees and 1,573 volunteers.[1]

St. Cloud Hospital

St. Cloud Hospital is a Catholic, not-for-profit hospital located in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The hospital has more than 4,300 employees, 400 physicians and 1,255 volunteers. It serves 640,000 people in a 12-county area and ranks among the top 100 hospitals in the United States in a number of indexes.

CentraCare Health System — Long Prairie

CentraCare Health System — Long Prairie is a not-for-profit, Long Prairie is a 25-bed critical access hospital and 75-bed long-term care facility that provides a range of health care services and access to a variety of specialists. The institution employs more than 280 people who serve nearly 18,000 residents in and around Todd County. The facility is located in Long Prairie, Minnesota.[2]

CentraCare Health System — Melrose

CentraCare Health System — Melrose is a not-for-profit, is a 25-bed critical access hospital with an attached 75-bed skilled nursing home and 42-unit senior apartment building. Health care services and access to specialists are provided on the medical campus in Melrose, Minnesota. The institution employs more than 190 people and serves 10,000 residents in and around western Stearns County.[3]

CentraCare Clinic

CentraCare Clinic is a physician-led, multi-specialty group with more than 180 physicians at nine sites in six Central Minnesota communities. CentraCare Clinic operates nine clinic sites in Becker, Eagle Bend, St. Cloud, Long Prairie, Melrose and St. Joseph, Minnesota.[1]

St. Benedict's Senior Community

St. Benedict's Senior Community is a not-for-profit health care and housing provider for older adults. Its care center provides nursing services, including short stay and palliative care, and services for those with Alzheimer’s disease or other memory loss conditions. St. Benedict's has locations in both St. Cloud and Monticello, Minnesota.[4][5]

Gorecki Care Center is the 222-bed licensed long-term care facility of St. Benedict’s Senior Community. An interdisciplinary team provides care for individuals who need attention and services 24 hours a day.

Retirement apartments at St. Benedict's Senior Community — St. Cloud include: Benedict Village, Benedict Court, Benet Place and Benedict Homes. Benedict Village has 95 one- and two-bedroom apartment homes of are for those ages 62 and older who want a high level of independence combined with the benefits of an attractive senior community. Benedict Court is a housing option for those ages 62 and older who want to live independently but also need some level of assistance. Benedict Court, adjacent to St. Benedict’s Care Center, has 39 one- and two-bedroom apartments. The brick-constructed buildings, complete with controlled-access entrances, are set in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Benet Place offers a variety of services which promote independence, freedom and a strong sense of community. Benet Place consists of two buildings with a total of 79 units. Residents of Benet Place must be at least 62 years of age and meet specific income guidelines. Benedict Homes are designed to embrace the special needs of people with Alzheimer’s disease or other cognitive disorders. Residents live in small group settings and are supervised 24 hours a day by staff trained to work with people who have memory loss.

CentraCare Health Foundation

CentraCare Health Foundation engages the philanthropic community in partnership to improve health and health care. The Foundation accepts charitable contributions for all CentraCare Health System entities and averages over $100,000 per year in grants throughout Central Minnesota.[6][7]
